MyCardBatch vs. eBay's Magical Bulk Listing Tool
eBay has its own AI listing tool, the "magical bulk listing tool" in Seller Hub, and it's free. So why use anything else? Here's an honest comparison, including when eBay's tool is all you need.
What eBay's tool does
eBay introduced it in 2024, starting with the Sports Trading Cards category. You upload several photos at once, and eBay's AI suggests a title, category and item specifics for each item, which you edit before publishing. It lives in Seller Hub as the option to create multiple listings from photos, and eBay rolled it out to sellers gradually, so not every account has it. It costs nothing extra, it's already inside eBay, and for a few common cards it can be quick. Independent coverage of eBay's demos has noted that it still has limitations, so expect to check every field.

When eBay's tool is enough
If it's switched on for your account, you list a few sports cards at a time, and you're happy to type set details and prices yourself, eBay's free tool is a perfectly good option.
When MyCardBatch is worth it
The gap opens up with volume and with the details card buyers search for. A card's value is in its exact set, number and parallel, and MyCardBatch fills those from real checklists rather than leaving them to a guess. It also covers Pokémon, pairs fronts and backs from a phone, prices a whole batch at once, and keeps tracking the cards after they sell.

Is eBay's magical bulk listing tool free?
Yes. It's part of Seller Hub at no extra cost, though eBay rolled it out gradually and not every seller has it.
Can I use both?
Yes. Many sellers use eBay's tools for one-off items and MyCardBatch for card batches. Cards listed through MyCardBatch are normal eBay listings you can manage in Seller Hub as usual.
Does MyCardBatch list through eBay's official API?
Yes. You connect your eBay account on eBay's own sign-in page, and MyCardBatch never sees your eBay password. You can also skip connecting and upload a CSV through eBay's File Exchange.
